**Lavender can be hard to burn sometimes. If you’re having difficulty getting the bundle to keep a flame, try these tips below!

Loosen the bundle:

Gently pull apart the lavender stems at the end of the smudge stick to create more air pockets.

Use a powerful flame:

Try using a candle flame or a lighter with a strong flame to initially light the smudge stick.

Hold at an angle:

Hold the smudge stick at a 45-degree angle when lighting to ensure the flame reaches the center of the bundle.

Fan the flame:

Once lit, gently fan the smudge stick to encourage a steady, smoldering burn.
